
Savva Brown graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy from Amsterdam University College and spent 6 months with UCA's IPPA as a Junior Research Fellow. He supported senior fellows on the Naryn Urban Resilience Programme, where he worked with local stakeholders to build GIS capacity. He also contributed to a study on societal attitudes towards decarbonisation in Kazakhstan and facilitated a subsequent roundtable for public and private sector stakeholders. His interests include fisheries science and environmental policy in the post-Soviet space. He is excited to continue in new roles at UCA before committing to a master’s programme in 2026!
