International Office

The International Office provides leadership in the pursuit of academic excellence through international cooperation and strategic partnerships. It coordinates and facilitates all relevant cooperation and strategic opportunities in line with UCA's mission of developing mountain societies.

The work of the International Office falls under four broad areas of operation:

  • Strategy and Consultation
    Facilitating academic and strategic partnerships across the university in teaching, research and learning
  • Institutional Strengthening
    Working with UCA's School of Arts and Sciences, Graduate School of Development, School of Professional and Continuing Education, as well as University departments to identify, strengthen and support implementation of opportunities and collaborations
  • Maintain Global Relevance
    Participating in events to promote social and economic development in Central Asia, encouraging cross-cultural understanding, fostering flow of ideas in university education as well as adopting best practice in line with international quality standards across the university
  • Graduate, Doctoral and Postdoctoral Studies
    Providing leadership in academic development through the Central Asian Faculty Development Programme (CAFDP)
