Museum Bishkek. Guide to museums, galleries, exhibition halls of Bishkek

The guide was published by the Cultural Heritage and Humanities Unit of the Graduate School of Development of the University of Central Asia.

This guide includes a total of 30 denominations – museums, memorial houses, exhibition halls, galleries, laboratories, and private initiatives. Not all of them have the official status of
a museum, but this does not reduce their value. According to the form of ownership, museums can be private, state or public museums.

The Cultural Heritage and Humanities Unit works to preserve and promote the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the peoples of Central Asia through research, documentation, archiving and support for researchers from the region.
